Some places stay with us because they're beautiful.
Others stay with us because they changed us.
Shared Ground was inspired by an ancient bristlecone pine growing above 9,500 feet in Colorado's North Park. Shaped by centuries of wind, snow, drought, and time, it still stands where countless seasons and countless lives have come and gone before it.
This piece is a reminder that we're never the first to stand somewhere, and we won't be the last. We inherit landscapes, traditions, and relationships from the people who came before us. What we choose to care for, and what we choose to leave behind, becomes part of someone else's story.
Printed on museum-quality canvas and framed in sustainably sourced pine, this piece is meant to bring a sense of patience, resilience, and perspective into the places where we spend our lives.
Because what we inherit becomes what we leave behind.
