Inspired by the amphibious heritage of the Marine Corps, the artwork pairs tiger sharks, a mermaid, and a bonsai coral tree to explore the balance between strength and restraint. The sharks embody resilience and survival. The mermaid tends the tree with quiet intention. Together they remind us that discipline isn't measured by force alone, but by what we choose to cultivate.

The coral bonsai represents stewardship, patience, and the unseen foundations that support growth. Like roots beneath the soil or reefs beneath the sea, our deepest strengths are often the ones no one else can see.
