We all have that one friend.

The one who somehow owns every plant you’ve ever heard of, several you haven’t, and at least one that looks suspiciously like it shouldn’t exist yet. Every available window has been claimed. The shelves are full. Grow lights have become permanent fixtures. There is absolutely, positively no room for another plant.

Then they see one they don’t have.

“Just one more.”

That’s how it starts. One Monstera becomes three. A Philodendron with a little variegation appears. Then an Anthurium. Then something pink. Eventually the dog grooming shop has slowly become a botanical garden that happens to cut hair.

Just One More is for that friend. Or, more realistically, for the person reading this who immediately knows they are that friend. Because collecting plants was never really about having enough. There’s always another leaf, another mutation, another weird little plant sitting in a four-inch pot that you absolutely need for reasons nobody else needs to understand.

At least the dogs seem fine with it.
